This seemed like a great lock to use for my backpack while traveling. The dual cord loops are a great design and the lock seemed to work perfectly the first two times I locked my backpack up. But, after the third time I locked it, the lock lost its combination and I was unable to reopen it. I tried every number on either side of the combination I had set (and successfully used twice before)... just in case one of the combination numbers had somehow "slipped" onto an adjacent number. But no go. Nothing would work. So we had to frantically run around the airport looking for someone who could open the lock, since security wouldn't let us go through with the backpack locked. The lock has a TSA keyhole at the bottom, but that didn't help since we were at Heathrow and European airports don't have TSA keys. And, even if security had been able to use a TSA key, I doubt we would have been able to re-set the combination afterwards. In the end, security just got a pair of heavy scissors and cut the lock off. Which took about 30-seconds. So, no. I would not recommend this lock to anyone.
